CLASS POLICES:
Pre-registration is required for all classes.
Class fee is due at registration.
Class fee includes class supplies and teaching fee unless otherwise noted.
Class size is limited for individual attention.
Refunds:
- Full Shop Credit is given if we cancel the class.
- Full Shop Credit is given if attendee cancels 24 hours or more prior to class.
- Full Fee is forfeited if attendee cancels less than 24 hours prior to class or fails to show.
BEGINNING CROSS STITCH: Instructor – Nancy Bailey Fee - $15.00 If you can count and make X’s you CAN do counted cross stitch! You’ll learn the basics, tips and techniques as you stitch a colorful rainbow heart design.
PUNCH NEEDLE CLASS: Instructor – Nancy Bailey Fee - $20.00 Punch Needle is an antique Russian needleart that resembles miniature rug hooking. This introductory class will teach you the basic techniques and offer helpful tips. Our punch needle tools are available for your use during class and for purchase after class should you get “hooked” on punching.
INTRODUCTION TO SHUTTLE TATTING: Instructor – Pam Esbjerg Fee - $15.00 Pam makes learning to tat easy! In this introductory lesson you’ll learn how to make the basic sliding knot using large, easy to see threads. Once you’re comfortable with this technique we can schedule additional sessions where you will complete a small tatted project.
BEGINNING HARDANGER: Instructor – Pam Esbjerg Fee - $20.00 What is hardanger you ask? It’s a delicate Scandinavian needlework comprised of satin stitches and needleweaving. Learn the basics as you create a small ornament. Pam will guide your through cutting and removing fabric threads and needleweaving on the remaining threads. It’s beautiful and really is easier than it looks!
FINISHING CLASSES: Instructor – Diana Parfitt Fees vary Diana is the phenomenal finisher who does all of our finishing here at the shop. She offers class instruction in pillow making, ornament finishing, flat folds, stuffed stand-ups and most anything else we can dream up. Let us know if there is a finishing technique you’d like to learn.
BOBBIN LACE: Tuesdays 10:00 AM - Noon A group of bobbin lacers meets here at the shop every Tuesday morning to lace together. They would love for you to drop by and see what they’re working on. And, if you’d like to learn this method of lace making we’ll put you in touch with the teacher.
